    Yankı Marine is a young and dynamic firm that was established in 2008. Along with building yachts and specific boats such as tugboats, pilot boats, mooring boats and fishing vessels, the firm also provides services such as maintenance/repair, consultancy and brokerage. Yankı Marine, which was established by experienced naval engineers who have worked long years in the marine industry of naval construction in Turkey, is rapidly and successfully developing into becoming one of the dynamics of the sector with its experience from previous projects.

     The production and repair & maintenance activities which is conducted together with partner firms, takes place through professional work that includes its fields of specialization.

     As a firm that believes in the necessity of leaving a clean world for future generations, its fundamental principle is to be an example with its sensitivity towards the environment and work safety.

Important Announcement

IMO Resolution MSC.256(84) amended SOLAS Regulation II-1/3-4 and the requirements for emergency towing. Currently, under regulation 3-4, tankers require an approved towing arrangement; the amendment will require all vessels, including tankers, to be provided with an emergency towing procedure.

An emergency towing procedure must be provided on board:

1.) All passenger ships, not later than January 1, 2010
2.) Cargo ships (ships other than passenger ships) constructed (having their keels laid) on or after January 1, 2010, on delivery, and
3.) Cargo ships (ships other than passenger ships) constructed (having their keels laid) before January 1, 2010, not later than January 1, 2012.
